There were quite a few considerations to keep in mind when we opened our restaurant last year. First of all, the weather played a huge role in determining when we would have our opening day, since wind patterns this time of year can be really unpredictable in our area. The last thing we wanted were umbrellas and tables blowing over in the middle of dinner service! After that was resolved, our website became the next problem. The designer we had hired basically skipped town, leaving us without even a frame to work with. Thankfully, my sister new graphic design, so she helped us our registrars like http://www.domainnames.comto find an appropriate hosting package and merchant account provider. Once that dust settled, all we had to worry about was getting the menu exactly right before people started streaming through the door, and that was the easy part! So far, business has been booming, but hardly a day goes by that I don’t think of all the challenges we faced just to get this place open.
