My best friend’s son, just got accepted to medical school. So this year for Christmas, we thought it would be fun to get him a gift that he would appreciate and never ever forget.  After giving this some serious thought, we decided to get him three sets of scrubs.

At this point, John, my friend’s son, wants to be a surgeon so we are looking to get him at least one set of lab coats, but are having a difficult time finding stores that sell them.  Our next alternative is to find an online store where we can make these purchases.  I would have never thought that buying green scrubs would be such a chore, but I think the thought that we have put into this gift and the meaning behind it will make it all worth while.

Getting accepted into a major and reputable medical school is such an accomplishment, yet only the beginning of a lifetime of dedication and hard work.  We are all so very proud of John and know that he will be successful.  We just want to make sure he knows that he has all of our support and admiration.  This is a huge step!!!
