What is a stripping basket and what can it be used for…is the question you may be asking yourself right about now…….  Well, let me tell you.  A strippingbasket is container that fly fishers use to hold their  fishing paraphernalia while in the water.  Now I know you’re next question is why is this on a combat sports blog site?  Let me tell you that too.

You all have seen the cut man in the combat sports who rushes in between rounds and takes care of the fighter’s cuts and bruises.  And, im sure you have noticed that the cut man always carries in a bucket filled with ice, vaseline, adrenaline, tape, guaze, and other tools of his trade.  Now instead of the old plastic bucket, a stripping basket can be used to hold the cut man’s items.  Think about it, the strippingbasket has built in carrying handles, a 50 mm wide wadding belt with a quality buckle, handles high and low tempuratures, is durable and lightweight.

The cut man will have this stripping basket strapped to his waist and have both hands free to better attend to his fighter.  I really think this could be the next innovation in the world of the cut man.  I just hope someone who is a cut man will read this and give it a try.
