Awards and trophies go hand in hand with any sport. Often times they are also given out for non-sporting events as well. In the combat sports, trophies are usually belts. Getting the right trophy for the right sport is something that must always be kept in mind.  The little figure on top of the trophy should at least look like it belongs on the trophy for which it is being presented.

For instance, can you imagine giving golf trophies that look like soccer trophies or even worse yet, looking like cheerleading trophies?

I am a strong believer that the little details are what makes thing go from good to great. So many times I have seen inappropriate awards and trophies be presented….it is sad…lets stop people from doing that!!!!
